About Chromika

Chromika was started in 2006 in Elkhart, Indiana. Chromika blends industrial, electronica, metal and world music to create a sound all her own. Chromika has collaborated with several industrial acts. In 2006, she collaborated via the internet on a side project called The Killing Light, an Australian/American industrial duo. In 2005, the early incarnation of Chromika was born under the moniker of DJ Darkwave, an electronic dance project. DJ Darkwave was short lived, and never released any music. On January 8, 2008, "Black Abyss" the first Chromika album was released. The CD was designed by Chromika, who also did all the writing, recording, programming, mixing and production on this album. Chromika is working on collaborating further with local industrial and electronic artists in 2009.
