About Flowettik

My name is Christopher Michael Clemons, A.K.A. (Flowettik). I was born in Jacksonville, FL at 4:20 a.m. on August 14th 1983. My parents divorced when i was just 3 years old. My brother Jason and I moved to Jefferson City, MO with our mother and my father stayed in Florida. At an early age i was interested in music. I recall being in fourth grade and buying my first rap tape, Gangsters Paradise. Ever since then it seems i have been writng, and freestyling ever since.
At the age of 15,i began failing school, selling drugs and leaving home when i chose. I got into some trouble and was forced to move to Dade City, FL to live with my father. Over the next couple years i really began experimenting with drugs. I graduated high school on time, but the drugs had taken there toll and my father kicked me out of his house. I had nowhere to turn so I called my mother and moved back to Missouri. The idea seemed good at the time, and upon my arrival i enrolled in college and began taking classes. My life took a turn for the worst when i failed out of school and turned once again to hustling drugs and making money any way i could. It caught up with me on March 3rd, 2003 when i was arrested for felony possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. I enrolled into the Drug Court program but never changed my ways. I got arrested for DUI about 6 months after entering the program and 3 months later I was set up in a DEA sting operation for felony sales of marijuana to an undercover agent. Through these hard times I found that my music really allowed me to cope with whatever the world trew at me. I was kicked out of Drug Court and arrested again. I was eventually sentenced to 3 (4 year) sentences ran concurrent. Due to the fact that i had a good attorney, I was offered a 120 day shock incarceration in DOC so i took it. Upon my release I hopped a plane and transferred all my stipulations to Dade City, FL. Dade City proved to be a bad place for me. My brother and I both fell very deep into the street life of Florida and began selling marijuana,and other drugs to make a living. I almost lost my life 2 times in 6 months and by the summer of 2006 me and my brother were so deep that in my mind my only options were to go after everyone around me or call it quits in the dope game. My so called boys began talking to the cops and told them all about me and my brother. Being a step ahead and destined not to go back to prison i left Dade City while on probaton and moved to Jacksonville, FL. By 2007 I was totally clear of the dope life. 2 years later I completed all stipulations to the state of Florida and was released by Probation and Parole. 17 days after my completion of probation, my son Carter Lee Clemons was born.
Seeing him really drove home the fact that i must provide for my seed the best way possible. He has created a new drive in me. This is my time to look back, thank God that im still alive and get back to working hard on my music. I have been writing non-stop and have completed 5 songs for my album that will be droppin at the end of 2010 or the beginning of 2011.
