About Gregory Piere

Gregory Piere has arrived…..He is an extremely talented singer/songwriter, arranger and producer, and in 2008, he has emerged. Gregory Piere has chosen not to be boxed into the commonly heard sound of male R&B singers of today. His music transcends multiple genres ranging from jazz, to neo soul to funk to R&B ballad. Born in Gary Indiana and raised in San Francisco, California, Gregory’s passion for the art of music making began at an early age. An artist in every sense of the word he is quick to say he wishes he would have stayed in the church choir when he was growing up. A purpose driven man who was actually able to play four instruments fairly well (Violin, viola, cello, and alto sax) by the time he was 9 years old.
Gregory recently completed his debut CD entitled ‘She’s Got Style’ which will be formally released in late 2008 or early 2009. His music can be described with three words: smooth, sultry, and sensuous. His dynamic musical arrangement coupled with his silky vocals makes this definitely a CD for any all collections. In listening to Gregory’s CD you will quickly realize the fact that his talent has no boundaries or restrictions. One of his favorite tracks on the CD is track number 4 which is entitled Live. The track was inspired by the bestselling book/DVD ‘The Secret’, by Rhonda Burns. Gregory truly believes that one should celebrate the gift of life to no end. To quote the first chorus he says: “live your life in the present, (the future the past they disappear), nothing else is relevant, (not your worries, not your fears), live each day like it’s your last, (savor the moments that you have), ‘cause once they’re gone you can’t get ‘em back. SO LIVE’
Gregory’s’ philosophical approach to his artistry is based on his belief that music is pleasant because of the silence between the notes. If the silence is in the right places the ears find it pleasant. So he systematically fills the silence, leaving just enough to make things wonderfully melodic and elegantly arranged. His 1 year plan is to have millions of people across the continents digitally download his music. He also has his thoughts focused on the prestigious Grammy award which will literally constitute his formal stage of (cap and gown) graduation as a singer/songwriter. His 3 year plan is to write, produce and/or arrange songs for others as well as release another CD of his own... His 5 year plan is to expand his label ‘Apairadice Productions’ and help other independent artist achieve what he has achieved without all of the unnecessary struggles. Lastly Gregory’s passion is to ultimately do what he does best: write, arrange, and produce quality music and provide listeners with nothing less than the best music heard today.
Originally a drummer, Gregory is now a writer, arranger, producer and pro tools engineer. Gregory is also the founder and CEO of Apairadice productions. Please allow me the pleasure of presenting to some and introducing to others Mr. Gregory Piere and his debut CD ‘She’s Got Style’
