About Hit the Brakes

We're a 4 piece indie rock band from Fife, but are all studying Popular Music in Edinburgh!

We got together in December 2008, and have continued to write songs and play gigs ever since then.

The line up is as follows:
Garry Downie - Vocals
Stewart Black - Guitar
Alastair Stark - Bass guitar
Jamie Dunleavey - Drums

We've played many venues across Scotland, from Aberdeen, to Fife, to Edinburgh and are happy to play anywhere!
