About Jack Falk Project
Jack Falk Project has quite a history that started back in 1996. Jack performed for
The Jimi Hendrix Family Foundation in San Francisco in 1996 and Los Angeles in 1999.
In 2006 Jack Falk Project was proud to open performances for Leslie West and Mountain,
Bachman Turner Overdrive, The Greg Rollie Band, Beatlemania, Tom Petty Band, Loverboy
and many others with over 50,000+ people in attendance. Jack's live version of the Star Spangled Banner opening performance was videoed and played on the ABC evening news in Tampa Fl.
Jack spent an evening jamming with Mick Jagger in New York City. Jack has also recorded
with members of Badfinger in New York City. Jack did some video work with The Grateful Dead at Front Street studios in San Rafael California. Jack has played guitar with members of Reba McEntires band in studio sessions.
In 1994 Jack was composing and recording with Bobby Winkleman of the Steve Miller Band.
Around 1992 Jack laid down guitar tracks for members of Journey. In 1995 Jack was hanging
with The Jefferson Starship at their house in San Francisco and purchased a bunch of their gear.
In 2000 Jack was jamming out one of legendary guitar player Harvey Mandel at Jacks home studio. A few months later they recorded the album "Gunslingers"
In 2002 Jack was playing many live festivals for the Hells Angels in Garberville, Hollister and San Jose CA. with his band Stone Gypsy.
Jack has played acoustic and electric guitars live on Bleeker Street with David Peel and the Lower East Side Band. Jacks compositions and playing can be heard on ABC soap operas.
Jacks music has appeared in an episode of The Twilight Zone.
Jack spent an evening with Yoko Ono in Berkeley CA discussing John Lennon and all the projects they did together. Jack and his family has spent Thanksgiving in N.Y.C. with Stevie Wonder and his orchestra.
Other then that its the same old same old. You know just trying to survive everyday.
Jack just wants to wail away on guitar and forget about everything else. Why can't life just be like that?
