About Jessie Galante

My parents introduced me to the music of my Italian heritage that planted the original seed of passion for music inside my heart and soul. Craving to express myself, I literally ravaged the stages of Buffalo like one of the storms that frequent that city and with my first band “Actor,” I was honored by being crowned the city’s, " First Lady of Rock.” And so my journey began. I moved to LA and with management formed the band “Fire” voted one of the top ten bands in Los Angeles. We recorded a 3 song demo produced by Michael Wagener and got the attention of radio stations in Europe receiving airplay throughout Europe with major press coverage. For the past nine years, I’ve toured in Europe performing in The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Hungary with continuous airplay, television and press coverage. Most recent, in 2009 I recorded with a Grammy Award winning production team and all-star backing band releasing my CD “Spitfire."

This cast brings each song more emotion and feeling towards what Jessie Galante is trying to portray in her music. The guitarists have taken a more grungy style yet havent fallen away from their electrifing feel. Percussionist Frank Ferrer gives a clean and masterful flow to each song.
