Emerging to the Soul and R&B scene to reign supreme is Keingz Ransom “KR”. The male quartet is bringing back the soulful R&B, Soul male crooning that the music industry has not heard since the days of Jodeci, Boyz II Men, when men could tell a story of love, lust, heartbreak while intricately laced with the hottest, street-inspired beats.

The “kings” of Keingz Ransom, taking the industry for ransom, are front-men Rodney “Tinman” Miller and Cedric “Fontaine” Hughes with Kewaithian “Kew” Freeman and Broderick “Brick” Smith. KR formed in 2001 in Dallas, Texas when the deep South was mostly represented by down South rap and void of its predecessor soul R&B.

Keeping writing duties and production within the group, Keingz Ransom will remain atop the throne. Simply put, Keingz Ransom proves to be the “king” of the artistic process.

Throughout the South, the group remains in high demand, performing in several local radio events, clubs, and television shows. Ladies remain the group’s objects of affection, expressed in sensual songs such as, “Role Play”, “U Want It”, and “Behind Closed Doors”, KR has treated screaming ladies at TePheJez, Club Karma, Crystal’s, and Maxwell’s to a soulful array of ballads, leaving many wanting more. In 2007, Keingz Ransom shared the stage at Big Balla Weekend in Dallas with national celebrities like the Ying Yang Twins and Jody Breeze of Boys In Da Hood. Just recently, KR was the hit at the 97.9 The Beat Custom Car Show and Concert and was among music A-listers, like Ray J, Ludacris, Plies, and many more.

With their debut album set to release in Summer 2008, expect to hear a lot more from Keingz Ransom, as they begin to reign supreme in the music industry.
