Who ever coined the phrase "never judge a book by its cover" must have had a premonition about a 19 year old Rapper/Songwriter Loco Da Truth when they thought it up. Born Rakeem Tashad Addison in Fort Myers, Florida to a hard working mother, Loco learned how to do things for himself as a youngster. Disenchanted with the so called Rap he was hearing on the radio Loco flipped the script and started recording his own brand, called Hip Hop, for his exclusive listening pleasure. As with most secrets, the word got out when a friend heard what he was making music and started to spread the word amongst many others.
