THE UPLOAD 1.0 is Mag Miller’s first release on the What Label imprint. The album was created during a crucial turning point in the artist life that seems to bring out a wide range of emotions that is rarely found with a lot of mainstream artists. Although considered a mixtape, the project comes off more like a debut LP due to Mag’s introspective lyrics. The broad range of styles and topics found in this release showcase Mag’s unique versatility and adaptability that is rarely found in the new world of hip-hop. This is most evident on the mixtapes’ first three singles; Intergalactic, The Murder of Melody, Ima Do Whatever.

THE UPLOAD 1.0 is a release that has the potential to be considered a classic mixtape and a prelude to his full length debut release due out in Spring 2012.
