About Neal Sorabella
I have been playing guitar and performing since the age of 3. I began with my brother performing in the same shows with Tex Ritter, Rex Allen, The Sons Of The Pioneers, etc. Later I performed regularly on pedal steel and as time went on, I was in an array of bands including The Crusaders, Country Cream, a CSNY-style acoustic band, Johnnee Flashe & The Space Kadettes, Grey Havens, Bite Back and most recently BluMantra.
During the early to mid '70's I recorded for blues legend Willie Dixon at his Soul Productions studio in Chicago. This allowed me the opportunity to share music with some of the finest blues musicians of the time including Lafayette Leake, Carey Bell Harrington and Hound Dog Taylor. From 1969 until his untimely death in 1976, I was good friends with guitar extraordinaire Tommy Bolin.
I spent 17 years in Vedic temples all over the US and India as a brahmana priest. This added another ingredient to my music as I played mostly eastern instruments during that time.
I have written over 2000 songs and am now trying to get them out to the people. I have a variety of styles and any song can be adapted to other genres. I am seeking other artists to collaborate or to do the songs. I am open to any arrangement. I can be contacted at nitai32@hotmail.com.
I hope you enjoy the music.
