About ORIGEN

The Origen was founded in 1995 by composer, producer and sound engineer Alexsey Zakharenko from Kyiv (Ukraine). There were comments describing the first Origen's CDs as progressive ambient, electronic music. In 2002 Alexey Zakharenko invited opera soprano Tanya Lubimenko to take part in the recordings of new age music album Ave Maria and it was the good choice. In September 2002 Ave Maria ( Caccini) was at TOP 40 general charts, Ave Maria (Schubert ) was #1 at mp3.com New Age Charts, Ave Maria (Bach-Gounod) was #1 in Metal Charts and soon all tracks from this album were on the top of different international charts. "This is so good! Incredible sound, and mixing..and I cried when the vocals came in this is "Dead Can Dance + Sarah Brightman. I will be listening out for more... how can I not.."
