About PROMISE
As a young musician, a 25-year-old ladies’ man, and r&b singer, Promise is carrying out a dream that he was called to do….SING! Promise was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, a place not known for music or producing a steady stream of hit singles and legends. But insert Promise, an artist that has been involved with music since he was a little kid. For Promise, music is more than just a hobby, it’s a way of life. He has entertained many and been in and out of singing groups since he began his career singing as a young child and blossomed into a solo artist. Now backed by the powerhouse label and production team Helium 4 Music Inc., he is working to make sure he has all the right tools for his talent to prosper. Within no time, Promise will rise as a bona fide R&B superstar.
Promise is not only an entertainer, but an amazing performer and student of his craft. As a teen he was in a boy band so it should come at no surprise that he was influenced by the sounds of mega R&B groups like Silk, Boyz II Men, and R&B crooner Brian McKnight. Promise says of his brand of music, “I have my own style. It’s about vibing, listening and bringing great music to life. My music will separate me from the rest.”
His courage and ardent love for what he does has lent him the opportunity to open for larger, established acts including Marques Houston and singer/songwriter NeYo. With Mix tapes produced by DJ Holiday, and landing radio airplay in South California, Promise frequently visits the Atlanta area where he and his team led by CEO Kofi Buahin [Helium 4 Music Inc.] have been diligently marketing his music, polishing his image, and developing his brand.
In the meantime, Promise and his crew have been consistently in the lab churning out one hit after another for his yet-to-be titled debut album and lead single and video Future. Promise, the vocalist, songwriter, and talent, is set to embark on a journey that will one day cross genres, audiences and times. The Phoenix native is ready to step up to bat and claim his own place on the playing field. A place that the world will have to get used to!
