They’re Stoner rock with a hint of retro-progressive riffs, splashed with a smidge of metal. No matter where this band resides in the world of rock, Powered Wig Machine, a.k.a. PWM, has one or two live tracks that are sure to rock your donkey. Formed in 2006, PWM has been building their following through gigging and exposure on the internet. Currently PWM has released only their first single “Uh Sexy” preceding their first album that is planned to be released July 2008. PWM is sure to impress fans that listen to bands like Clutch, Fu Manchu, Queens of the Stone Age, Red Giant, and the Toadies, while still satisfying the Tool Loving prog fans with head banging odd meter. PWM's Single “Uh Sexy” catches the listener off guard with its comical analogies and witty lyrics. “Uh Sexy” is in your face from the second it starts, and is guaranteed to keep you in a stupor till the last note. Together, lead singer/guitarist Wayne Rudell, guitarist Brian Gold, bassist Joey Rudell, and drummer Daniel “the ranchero” Graves continue to push on with Powered Wig Machine’s “classic meets modern” aggressive sound.
