About Riotbox

Riotbox a 4 piece band from Sheffield in South Yorkshire. A sound that is described as grungy/indie/rock a review described as Mudhoney meets White Stripes. The music is adventurous, a messy punky sound with melodic pop twists, much like early 90's grunge.
Jimmy's raw vocals tinged with a Jack White type edginess supported by infectious melodies and Josh's spiky guitar solos. The bands swaggering self assurance and endearing honesty needs live exposure, festival stages and gigs where the audience want to be entertained with sustained energy.
