About Steve Carlyle

Steve Carlyle has been a writer/performer for nearly 30 years, playing folk festivals such as The Woodstock Folk Festival 2008, as well as many local benifits. Steve played in Portland,Or in various Coffee Houses through out the city in the early 1970s.His most current project is a Christian based CD laced with some secular tunes as well.This new CD is entitled "Changes" Many hardships have sculpted his writting into the craft it has now become, a Real Part of life from a realistic view. Steve graces his successes in his music to his strong beliefs in God and his savior Jesus Christ. A quote of his is simply this,"In order to truly appreciate what one has been given,he must realize how much he has lost, then keep the attitude of gratitude for life its self." This new CD has been quite an episode,for durring it's writting Steve was Blessed with answered prayers.All of the songs on the CD were totally written from inspiration and not just craft. So the story of his life unravels, a thread at a time....and song by song.
