With a sound as different as their individual influences, it's no wonder that Stex Jebba sticks out. Conceived from the ether of the Los Angeles skyline and christened in the underbelly of the Hollywood music scene, Stex Jebba is comprised of four musical entities that could not be more different. The founding members, Brett (lead vocals/rhythm guitar), Dub G (lead guitar), El Hombre (Bass), and Ron (Drums), each contribute a musical perspective distinguished by their past and focused through their collaboration.

In their own personal musical journeys, the members of Stex Jebba, both individually and collectively, have had engagements with catalysts of creativity from the realms of rock, hip-hop, metal, punk, pop, jazz, classical, electronic, 80s, cassette tape, record, CD, 8-track, breathing, growing, hating, yelling, fucking, eating, sleeping, and of course... funk.

This has inspired a brand of music that transcends traditional definition. Many, including The Jebba themselves, have described their style as funk; however, to them, funk is freedom. It holds the least amount of boundaries and for that, they love and embrace her.

Their aversion for popular protocol extends beyond the creation of music and spills over to their live performance. A no holds barred charge of unbridled energy is released in full force when Stex Jebba takes the stage. Nothing is reserved. Armed with a catalogue of hard hitting originals and an arsenal of popular covers spanning many genres, Stex Jebba is ready and waiting to take on any venue or audience with full passion and confidence.

With a distinct musical style and an imposing stage presence, Stex Jebba is committed to fall into league with the likes of Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Funky Meters, and Rage Against The Machine while embracing the gusto of Guns N' Roses. They have chosen to draw from each of these personas and use them in the ongoing and infinite creation of Stex Jebba.
