About The Blueline 45

On November the 10th 2008 ‘Firebird’ (Let You Go) was released from the dynamic new studio project called ‘The Blueline 45’ on the Goldphone Recordings independent
label run by its producer Jon Aldersea.

Early signs and audience response has been fantastic to ‘Fire Bird’ and its counter track ‘March On’

We now welcome the ‘Firebird’ electric video promo featured on the official myspace site, already nominated for some international film festival awards and gaining rapid industry interest.
The 45 sound is a collection of dynamic vocalists/ writers and musicians that make up a ‘Stax’ type collective to produce high quality credible tracks and music.

Fusing elements of Northern Soul, 60’s style American psychedelic garage, new wave indie, soul and modern electronica. The vibe is now alive and the response is gaining active interest.

An album and follow up singles are currently in production.

The 45 idea has already attracted a vast amount of response with vocalists, writers and musicians from all over the UK and overseas that want to be a part of this collective. Over the coming year vocalists and musicians will be chosen for guest writing and sessions, and relevant tracks will be promoted, released and eventually performed live through TV, radio, video promo’s and gigs.

Full merchandise is already in discussion which will include limited edition vinyl, CD’s, stylish products and clothes all under The Blueline 45 banner.

JON ALDERSEA : Producer/writer

Located in Staffordshire, Jon as successfully run Silence Studios, his part art, part retro analogue/ digital recording studio in the amazing grounds of Trentham Gardens.

He has produced numerous remixes for major labels, recorded all aspects and genres of music and directed and co-produced chart topping video promos including ‘Altern 8’s chart topping smash ‘Activ 8’.


BOCKO: Co-writer, vocalist and songwriter.

Located in Staffordshire Bocko has spent most of his life writing and performing.

His craft with lyrics, voice and melody is outstanding. He has worked with Jon on various projects and amounted a credible catalogue of songs. An EP of re-mastered tracks from his 2006 album ‘In With A Shout’ will be released soon.


PIXIE BLUE: Co-writer, guest vocalist.

Located in Sydney, Australia. Pixie runs a recording studio with her partner. She is a distinct star who writes, performs and produces.
She has a wealth of experience with bands and directs and produces her own promos and films.
