About The Racket
The Racket is a rock and roll three piece from Manchester consisting of Ian “Dirty Mac” McCormack (Guitar, Vox), Daniel Seabright (Bass) and Kieran Farrell-Mitchell (Drums). The band formed in December 2010 when Brothers Ian and Kieran decided after ten years of jamming, gigging and playing together and separately in different bands (Kashmir, The Frets, Free Ride Society and Snakewater) to embark on a new project The Racket. They recruited Daniel Seabright the guitarist from Kieran’s first band The Frets to play Bass. It is still early days for The Racket but have already got the ball rolling with a few rehearsals under their belt they have began recording their first demo Reflections with the help of engineer James Hunt and should have it finished by mid February 2011.
