About ThescienceofRockets

We were conceived early in 2007 by two friends in the midland U.K. area with a yearning to create songs of beauty, intensity, invention, and grace. As the year progressed, the science of rockets grew by the addition of a third member to complete the collective.

The sound of The Science of Rockets is best described as alternative Rock music, brought from influences of varying degrees in guitar based strength and style. The music is at the core of everything we do, the invention of The science of rockets came about by the lack of music to our taste in circulation, and deciding to be proactive about said lack of. Alternative rock being the nearest description of our sound, we write songs as a singular entity, therefore, we believe our music is best listened to without expectation or pretense but simply to succumb and be taken away by it and to explore the journey.
