About Tumbledown
INFO/BIO
TumbleDown music weaves its way through a number of diverse influences (Rock/Jazz/Reggae/Blues) to create a unique yet still accessible sound. There is an underlying 70's vibe that ties these influences together. Strong musicians, good hooks, unique sound - that is TumbleDown.
The band TumbleDown initially started as a group writing project with the goal of writing for placement in film and securing publishing contracts. Rob Jones (vocals), Stuart Hendrie (Guitar) and Dave Green (Bass) have crossed musical paths many times over the last 10 years with Stuart recording and producing projects for the both Rob and Dave; Dave supplying bass parts for some of Stuart's projects and Rob contributing to some of Dave's projects.
Soon into the writing process it became apparent that the material had a unique sound worth pursuing on its own and TumbleDown was born.
In the summer of 2006, with the help of Pat Bautz (Three Dog Night) on drums, TumbleDown headed into the studio to record the Equilibrium CD. The CD was completed in January of 2007 and can be purchased online directly from Indie Pool as well as major retailers across Canada (HMV, Indigo - You will likely need to have them order it in). The CD can also be purchased directly from the band.
