About Wil Lyons

Singer/songwriter/Piano/Keyboard/Guitarist. Influenced initially by 80'S synth pop but have written and performed acoustically on piano and guitar, particularly since taking up formal piano lessons a few years ago. (I occasionally play an Elton John set on piano). I have played gigs as a keyboard/acoustic guitarist with several cover bands over the years and like to rock it up too. I took a few years off from gigging to setup and run www.artefact.ie (a graphic design and brand consultancy) and setting up a couple of online businesses. I have now got back into playing and writing music and am looking to book gigs for a handful of musicians in Dublin through www.gigsandgiggles.com which I recently set up and hope to expand as a sideline business. New acts and gig venues should contact me. It is refreshing to see the likes of Susan Boyle succeed in the music business. Shows there's hope for the rest of us! I will be putting up new (more acoustic based) songs on this page over the next few months so please check in occasionally.
